In this video I share my story about lifelong dieting, which for me basically means lifelong FAT PHOBIA. I share how I have opened up my mind, my research, the people I learn from about diet & health and have come to the conclusion that it’s OK for my body to add more healthy fats.
I am still plant based, but adding quality olive oil, avocado oil, nuts, seeds, nut butters, avocado, even coconut oil & coconut butter to my diet and it has really help me and my husband feel more satisfied with meals with some added fats. It hasn’t shifted my weight at all and I feel very healthy.
I also share about using intermittent fasting in my own life and with my clients because it works with ANY DIET and you can get your health back on track starting from wherever you are. If you eat meat, lots of restaurant meals, even takeout & fast food… you can still start shifting your health in a positive direction just by eating less often. Diet & lifestyle changes are so powerful for losing weight, getting healthy, and preventing & even reversing common lifestyle diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
