Plant Based Meal Prep Tips for Fall & Winter | Bulk Cook for a Week of Eating

Hello Real World Plant Based Diet friends!  In this week’s video, I show you how we bulk cook to have a refrigerator full of healthy plant based meals with maybe an hour or two of cooking (much of it can be cooking while you do other things).

Meal Prep Tips Shown:
1. Pressure cooking a big pot of healthy plant based Indian curry.
2. Plan for a crock pot of soup later in the week.
3. Use a rice cooker to prep a big batch of rice for the week – enjoy with your Indian curry and serve soups over rice.
4. Bake a tray or two of potatoes or sweet potatoes to eat topped with veggies, sauces, chili, etc.
5. Tips to save your veggie scraps to make homemade veggie broth in the pressure cooker (good money saver).

Once you have these basic pre-cooked healthy foods on hand, you can just add in veggies and sauces using my SVS Starch+Veggie+Sauce formula for quick easy meals.

We find it handy to have a separate rice cooker as we are often making our main meal in the pressure cooker and hot rice to go with it at the same time.
