In this week’s video, I share more of the truly amazing health benefits of eating a healthy plant based diet (and not having to do it perfectly, we don’t!). I review a ton of information from my favorite plant based doctor, Dr. McDougall, who I trained with. All of the hot topics, common health problems, and success stories are based on a solid scientific background with double blind studies published in reputable health and medical journals. There is plenty of science to back up this way of eating, which I love given my own scientific background.
I share my own family history of a wide variety of lifestyle diseases and how I fully believe healthy plant based eating (never perfect!) has helped me prevent having to deal with any of the health issues seen in my family. I am 48 years old, healthy BMI, and on zero medications. I give almost all of the credit to my healthy plant based diet.
