What I Eat in a Day | MEDICAL MEDIUM Guidelines

Sharing a full day of eating following Medical Medium Liver Rescue guidelines.  Not the full 369 Cleanse, but recommendations for healing in general.  This includes fresh lemon water on an empty stomach in the morning and staying away from added fats in the diet until at least lunchtime.

I also included celery juice and a Liver Rescue Smoothie for a super healthy breakfast.  Some days I have a big bowl of oats with fruit and maple syrup instead of the smoothies.  Some days I skip the celery juice, but always include the lemon.  Since its wintertime, I include plenty of herbal tea throughout the day, especially in the morning as I am having lots of water, juice, and smoothies, which are all cold.

This way of eating recommends eating every 1.5-2 hours which is very different to me as I am so used to dieting or intermittent fasting most of my life.  Eating more often keeps a steady supply of glucose/fuel to the liver and brain.  According to this way of eating, ignoring hunger signals tends to stress the adrenals, which I need to heal.

Lunch was a nice hearty bowl of homemade split pea soup over brown rice.  Lentil & rice loaf, roasted potatoes, mushroom gravy, steamed broccoli & cranberry sauce for dinner.  I can certainly eat super healthy and detox, yet have delicious, tasty, filling food.  This girl doesn’t do well with deprivation!
