Healthy Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cooking some delicious chocolate chip cookies from one of my favorite sources of healthy recipes – Clean Food Dirty Girl. I show the whole process for making these cookies that have lots of whole foods plant based healthy ingredients and just a small amount of healthy sweetener, in this case raisins and a small amount of coconut sugar. These were delicious, rich, and actually quite healthy.

I share some shortcut tips, ways to save time and skip some of the time consuming steps in the directions.  My years of plant based cooking help me look at any recipe and understand how to modify, change up ingredients based on what I have available, and make modifications to save time and save dirty dishes.  It’s one of my superpowers! Hopefully my extra tips help you with this recipe and to understand you can make modifications yourself as you start to do more healthy cooking at home.

These cookies were so soft, hearty, and delicious.  We had 2 each for dessert, so this recipe made 3 desserts for us.  Just one would be nice, filling, and give you a little sweet treat if you want them to last longer.
